Our Skid Row

Imagine a streetscape designed for our least enfranchised people: charging stations, shade structures, mobile lockers, and curb bump outs for tents and vending stations. These are just a few of the innovative ideas that bubbled up from the multi-year Our Skid Row planning initiative.

In 2015, I worked with Our Skid Row to make a picture of what Skid Row might look like if Skid Row’s residents had their way. This map poster will be used by members of Our Skid Row and its coalition partners to communicate needs, objectives and ideas to the city.
